Marinella, a native of the island of Sardinia (Italy), graduated from the Center for Ayurveda in March 2018. Training at the Center for Ayurveda is unique in that it certifies its practitioners in the classic and ancient style of one on one teacher-student training. Marinella has been trained in the Guru Kula tradition; a tradition in which the presiding teacher takes responsibility for the academic, as well as the personal and spiritual training of the student.
The science of Ayurveda was not new to her. In fact, when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2013 she decided to treat her disease holistically. That is when she met her guru and mentor Dr. Mela Butcher, Founder and Director of the Center for Ayurveda. Marinella will tell you that MS has changed her life. She is thankful that it has brought her to Ayurveda, the science of life and conscious living! She firmly believes that our body can heal itself if given the proper tools. She is a living proof to that.
