From the moment I walked into her office, my appointment with Krystal was soothing and healing. Krystal was very compassionate, professional, and kind as she took my history and I told her about what was going on with my life. Her presence is confident, yet gentle.

I arrived at my appointment with a lot of stress. I left feeling cleared and grounded. Throughout the day after the appointment, I felt a lot of energy releasing from my head and neck (where I carry a lot of tension) and my skin felt more clear and healthy. I loved the cupping which helped release the tension I was feeling in my back and shoulders. The tuning forks were soothing, helping me tune into my body and tune into the benefits of the session.

I am excited to continue treatment at Blue Jasmin to help my body clear some residual toxins and restore balance to my system. I confidently recommend Krystal to my friends and clients every chance I get.

I went to Bali in August of 2010 for several weeks to do an advanced pediatric and OBGYN training. Specifically, we learned a Japanese technique Shon Ni Shin for treating young children. We set up a free clinic on the Northwest Coast of Bali and treated the local Balinese people. We brought our own acupuncture supplies and herbs. It was an amazing experience! It was such a pleasure treating these people. They were so grateful and so kind. I also met many acupuncturists from around the world which was wonderful as well! We all shared our experiences and taught eachother variuos treatment methods. Bali is a beautiful & magical place with rich spiritual traditions. The people are very friendly and smile often! I learned so much on this trip and hope to go back again one day soon. Please check out the photo gallery for precious pictures from my journey. Enjoy!

It’s Springtime… Have you started a detox?

Welcome to Spring! This is a time for growth and renewal. Springtime is a great time to detoxify your body. Spring clean your house & spring clean your body as well. There are many different ways you can detoxify your body. When we detoxify the body, we focus especially on detoxing the liver. The liver is responsible for eliminating and processing the toxins our bodies are exposed to each day. Springtime is associated with the liver energy. The sour flavor is associated with the liver energy as well; therefore, sour foods are beneficial in detoxing the body. So beginning the day with a glass of warm lemon water is a great way to detox the body. Also, putting only pure foods in your body for a certain amount of time such as a day, a week, or a month is another option. For example: eliminating sugar, alcohol, caffeine/coffee, animal products, and processed foods helps to cleanse the body. Another great way to detox is drinking fresh vegetable juices. Buy local greens such as organic dandelion greens, from the local farmers market, and juice them with carrots, celery, and beets. Drink immediatly after preparing. Milk Thistle is a great herb to assist with detoxification and to help liver cells regenerate. If you would like some milk thistle, I have it available in small and large bottles at my office.
